Due to the nature and flexibility of the College, instructors are expected to carry their normally assigned teaching loads. The faculty is encouraged to be on campus for sufficient time to accommodate their responsibilities and to make it convenient for students to seek additional assistance and guidance.

All full-time and designate part-time instructors are required to work registration day and/or evening.

From the College’s perspective, full-time faculty will work on campus 30 hrs per week. At times during the year when the college is open but classes are not be held, and those semesters when instructors’ schedules do not include five working days, the faculty who are not taking annual leave are expected to work a six hour day. These hours should be on-campus except when off- campus activities have been officially approved.
